3D printing has a come a long way in the past few years (as seen from some of our previous posts – Burritob0t, DIY 3D Printing, and The Power of 3D Printing). Now, someone has figured out how to scale down 3D printing to create even smaller designs. The designs are in the form of a car with functioning doors and rolling wheels. They are so small, in fact, that according to autoblog.com, two of them can fit on a dime without worrying about dinging each other when the doors are open. The miniature cars are 1cm, and the same team can also make them in 2cm and 4cm versions. Now that’s pretty amazing. In today’s world of 3D printing, it seems anything is possible.
