The thermostat itself is lightweight, only 14oz, and is designed for easy installation with integrated WiFi and wireless zone sensors. This type of connection eliminates the need for expensive hard wiring, and enables the ComfortLink™ II to be placed anywhere in the interior environment for convenient access. Early concepts included a docking station that provided the ability to control the home environment from the bedside.
