Rapid prototyping is a broad term for using 3D CAD geometry to quickly and accurately create a physical model without the use of traditional tooling. Using a form of 3D printing, whether it’s SLA (Stereolithography), Objet, or SLS (Selective Laser Sintering), we are able to create parts extremely fast in order to verify design details, assembly, aesthetics, and ergonomics. A wide range of resins are available, and parts can achieve undercuts and other complex geometry that would be difficult and time-consuming with other fabrication processes. |
